Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Currently, some construction organizations are selling apartments in multi-storey buildings on the terms of "construction and transfer", construction projects of which have not been approved by the regional council for architecture and urban planning and have not passed the examination.

In most cases, citizens who have entered into contracts for the purchase of such apartments face difficulties in registering them in their own name, connecting them to drinking water supply networks, natural gas and electricity networks.

In particular, despite the fact that the construction project was not approved by the regional council for architecture and urban planning and did not pass the state examination, the developer began selling objects planned for the construction of the DahO Multifunctional Complex project located at Tashkent, Taras Shevchenko Street, 23.

Tashkent administration warned citizens that when buying apartments in future new buildings, they need to make sure that the design of the proposed “house to be built” has been reviewed by the regional council for architecture and urban planning and has passed the state examination.

“By buying an apartment in a building whose design has not been approved and has not passed the state construction expertise, you expose yourself to high risk and doom yourself to long-term problems,” the khokimiyat said.
