Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 6 October, the khokim of Tashkent city Jahongir Artikhodjaev visited the city of Nukus, the capital of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

During the visit, he got acquainted with the socio-economic state of affairs in the city, the way of life of the population and the projects being implemented.

He also visited the Berdakh Theater, Istiklol Park and got acquainted with the production facilities not used for their intended purpose.

In addition, he expressed his opinion to the khokim of the city of Nukus on the project for the improvement and decoration of the Istiklol park and on the creation of a musical fountain on the local lake, and also shared his experience on improving the economy of the city of Tashkent.
