Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At an extraordinary session of the district Kengash of people's deputies, held in the khokimiyat of Samarkand district, an organizational issue was considered. This was reported by the press service of the Khokimiyat of Samarkand region.

At the session, the deputies approved the candidacy of Sirojiddin Usmanov for the position of khokim of the Samarkand region.

Sirojiddin Usmanov was born in 1979 in the city of Samarkand. Prior to this appointment, he served as Deputy Prosecutor of the Samarkand region.
