Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An extraordinary session of the Kengash of People's Deputies of the Chilanzar district of Tashkent was held on 16 June. An organizational issue was considered at the session.

The khokim of Tashkent city Jahongir Artikkhodjaev, who spoke at the meeting, spoke about the socio-economic development of Chilanzar district, the scale of work carried out in the region and recommended a new candidate for khokims to the deputies.

During the session, Shavkat Mavlyanov was approved as the khokim of Chilanzar district, who worked for many years in the system of internal affairs bodies and from 2019 to the present worked as the head of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Syrdarya region.

Shavkat Mavlyanov was born in 1978 in the city of Tashkent. In 1999 he graduated from the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in 2012 - higher academic courses at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
