Khayrullo Bozorov Meets Successful Compatriots in South Korea to Discuss Investment Projects for Ferghana Region
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Khayrullo Bozorov, Hokim of Ferghana Region, held a meeting with compatriots who have achieved significant success in business and professional development in the Republic of Korea.
Ferghana native Dilshod Akbarov, who has lived in South Korea for 14 years and heads Intralink, shared his plans to attract investments from the U.S. and European aerospace industries to the Ferghana Region. With its strong aviation heritage, the region could become a platform for the revival and growth of this industrial sector.
Entrepreneurs Azizbek Tuychiev, Abdulaziz Abdulmalikov, and Adkhamjon Odilov are implementing a project in Korea to produce endoscopic equipment for treating spinal and intervertebral disc diseases and are promoting scientific and technical innovations internationally. Their near-term plans include opening a specialized clinic in the Ferghana Valley, where highly qualified specialists will perform surgeries, and experienced Korean professors and doctors will train Uzbek medical professionals in advanced technologies.
Mukhriddin Ibragimov, who works in the Korean office of NVIDIA, an American company specializing in artificial intelligence systems for autonomous vehicles, has spent four years developing AI models. He plans to return to Uzbekistan to implement similar projects at home.
During the meeting, the young and talented compatriots shared their achievements, professional experience, and ideas for the development of their native region.
Khayrullo Bozorov emphasized that the regional leadership will continue to support proactive and ambitious individuals who, even while abroad, achieve great success and seek to contribute to Uzbekistan’s development.
He wished them continued success and expressed hope for further meetings to discuss new joint initiatives.
