Kazakhstan appoints new envoy to Uzbekistan

Kazakhstan appointed new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the country to Uzbekistan. Kazakh leader Nursultan Nazarbaev signed a decree on appointment of new envoy to Uzbekistan.
According to the decree, Erik Utembaev has been appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan.
Prior to appointment, Erik Utembaev worked as Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Poland. He will replace Boribay Jeksembin in this post. Jeksembin completed his mission in Uzbekistan in December 2015.
