Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan Expand Audit Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Representatives of the Supreme Audit Chamber of Kazakhstan and the Accounts Chamber of Uzbekistan held a meeting in Tashkent to discuss cooperation in the field of state audit.

Following the talks, the parties signed an Action Plan for 2026–2028 aimed at strengthening collaboration between the two countries’ supreme audit institutions.

The document was prepared as part of the implementation of a Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2025 on the sidelines of the 25th Congress of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) held in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.

The new plan предусматривает расширение профессионального взаимодействия государственных структур в сфере государственного аудита. It includes exchange of experience and best practices, organization of working meetings and expert consultations, and development of methodological cooperation.

Member of the Supreme Audit Chamber of Kazakhstan Rustem Nurpeisov noted that joint work between the two institutions will help increase transparency and efficiency in public administration and strengthen trust between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

The implementation of the plan is expected to give additional momentum to the strategic partnership between the two countries and expand institutional cooperation in the field of public auditing.
