Kazakh Senate ratifies protocol on amendments to SCO Charter

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Senate of the parliament of Kazakhstan adopted the Law “On ratification of the Protocol on amendments to the SCO Charter”. The protocol was signed on, 7 June 2002 in Saint-Petersburg, Russia.

The protocol is aimed at introduction of amendments to the article 10 of the SCO Charter, which Kazakhstan ratified on 4 July 2003.

According to the protocol, Tashkent city hosts headquarters of the SCO Regional Anti-Terrorist office. The Protocol was signed on 5 September 2003 in Tashkent city.
