Karshi Fugitive Arrested After Disguising as Woman

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Law enforcement officers in Karshi, Kashkadarya region, have apprehended a 26-year-old resident wanted for multiple crimes.

The operation was conducted as part of the preventive campaign "Safe and Healthy Country."

In an attempt to avoid capture and move freely around the city, the suspect attempted an unusual disguise, fully altering his appearance by wearing women’s clothing. He hoped the disguise would divert attention and help him evade authorities.

However, the behavior of the "woman" drew suspicion from the Public Safety Service. During a document check, officers discovered that under the female attire was a man listed as wanted.

The suspect was promptly arrested, and investigative actions are currently underway.
