Kant Cement Plant to Close Its Representative Office in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Kant Cement Plant has decided to shut down its representative office in Uzbekistan.

According to Akchabar, the decision was approved on October 17 during an extraordinary general meeting of the company’s shareholders.

As per the meeting protocol, the CEO has been instructed to carry out all necessary legal and organizational procedures related to the liquidation of the office. The company’s charter has been amended to remove the clause covering its operations in Uzbekistan.

Previously, the office coordinated export deliveries and maintained relations with Uzbek partners.
