Kamilov receives new head of regional office of ICRC

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received new head of the Regional Office of International Committee of Red Crescent (ICRC) Jean-Jerome Casabianca on 22 February 2017.

Mr Casabianca handed over a letter on his appointment, signed by the President of ICRC Peter Maurer, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.

During the meeting, the sides considered current state and perspectives of development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the ICRC. The sides will mark the 25th anniversary of establishment of bilateral relations in 2017.

The sides underline mutual interest in successful realization of agreed projects.
