Kamilov and Grigule duscuss cooperation between Uzbekistan and EU

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the chairperson of the delegation of the European Union on relations with the countries of Central Asia and Mongolia Iveta Grigule on 2 November 2016.
According to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, the delegation of the European parliament arrived in Tashkent to hold the 12th plenary session of the Committee on parliamentary cooperation “Uzbekistan – European Union”.
At the meeting, the sides discussed current state and perspectives of deepening cooperation of the chambers of Oliy Majlis and European parliament.
Kamilov and Grigule underlined mutual interest in expanding multilateral cooperation due to strengthening and expanding legal framework of cooperation in political, trade-economic, investment, humanitarian and other areas.
