Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Kamchik pass, which was closed for automobiles, was reopened.
Earlier, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan reported that traffic at the Kamchik pass was temporarily stopped due to the threat of avalanches and bad weather conditions.
Through the joint efforts of the services of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the movement of vehicles at the Kamchik pass was restored.
It is noted that in order to restore traffic at the pass, special equipment was working to clear the road from snow. To prevent the formation of ice, a sand-salt mixture was used, which was scattered on the roads of Kamchik
The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that today, from 10:00 am, the movement of transport through the Kamchik pass was resumed.
