Joint stock companies now can increase charter capital via additional emission of shares

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Joint stock companies of Uzbekistan were banned to increase charter capital via raising nominal value of shares.

The Center for coordination and development of the securities market introduced changes to rules of emission of shares and state registration of issuing of securities.

The amendments removed opportunity to increase charter capitals of the joint stock companies via increasing par value of shares. The companies can increase their charter capital via placing additional emission of shares.

If the company increases its charter capital due to own resources, additional shares should be disseminated among existing shareholders, proportionally to their stake in the enterprise.
