Jianhua Ceramics invests US$50 million in ceramics production in Ferghana
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Chinese company Jianhua Ceramics is entering the final stage of a major investment project in the Kokand Free Economic Zone.
The announcement was made by the company's chairman, Wu Hongqiang, during a meeting with Khayrullo Bozorov, the governor of Ferghana region.
The project, which involves the production of ceramic products and tiles, has received US$50 million in direct investment from China. The products will be supplied to both the domestic market and neighboring countries.
The parties discussed technical aspects of launching production, the progress of engineering and communication infrastructure work, and the creation of new jobs.
Wu Hongqiang expressed gratitude for the support and confirmed that production is scheduled to start in March.
