Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Jazeera Airlines launched a direct regular flight between Tashkent and Kuwait. This was reported by the Dunyo agency.

On Sunday, the opening ceremony of the first flight of the Kuwait airline al-Jazeera on the Kuwait-Tashkent route was held in Kuwait.

Al-Jazeera Airline General Director Rohit Ramachandran noted that the airline is pleased to launch a direct flight from Kuwait International Airport to the capital of Uzbekistan.

He expressed confidence that the launch of regular flights will help strengthen ties between the two countries, increase the flow of tourists to Uzbekistan, develop trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two states.
