Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Japan held negotiations in the format of a video conference with the leadership of Doho University.
Doho University is a private university in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture. Founded in 1921 as Sinran Vocational School. Received university status in 1950.
It consists of 5 institutions: Shinran Vocational School, Nagoya College of Music, Nagoya Zokei University of Art and Design, Doho High School and Doho Kindergarten.
Rector Masahisa Matsuda expressed his readiness to establish and develop cooperation with universities and scientific institutions of Uzbekistan. The training of teachers for the system of preschool education, as well as the study of the history of Buddhism in Central Asia, are highlighted as possible directions.
An agreement was reached on establishing cooperation relations with partners among the universities of the republic in terms of academic and student exchanges and working out the possibility of concluding cooperation agreements with them.
