Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 24 July this year, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Jamshid Khodjaev held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Republic of Uzbekistan Manish Prabhat, at which the course of the current trade economic and investment cooperation between the two countries.
During the conversation, favorable conditions were noted for deepening bilateral partnership and expanding direct contacts at all levels.
The Uzbek side shared plans to hold talks with Indian partners to intensify cooperation in the areas of healthcare and pharmaceuticals, agriculture, veterinary medicine and animal husbandry. In addition, the prospects for the development of transport corridors connecting our countries were touched upon.
Support was expressed for the early development and adoption of the Program for the Development of Cooperation in Trade, Economic, Investment, Transport, Scientific, Educational and Humanitarian Spheres between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of India for 2022-2023.
As a result of the talks, further steps were identified to deepen the partnership and implement the agreements reached.
