Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting between Tashkent city mayor Jakhongir Artikkhodjaev and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan Ibragim Djunusov was held at the khokimiyat of Tashkent.
Sincerely welcoming the guest, the khokim of the city noted: the meetings of the leaders of our countries and the agreements reached at them serve to strengthen relations and develop comprehensive cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
In turn, Ibragim Djunusov said that constructive, multifaceted and mutually beneficial cooperation based on the principles of good neighborliness and strategic partnership is a common priority in the foreign policy of our countries. The high-ranking guest highly appreciated the reforms being carried out in our country and expressed gratitude for the gratuitous assistance provided by the government of Uzbekistan to Kyrgyzstan.
Mr. Ambassador, whose mission in Uzbekistan is coming to an end, noted: his work over the past period was fruitful, he is deeply impressed by the changes in our country, fascinated by Tashkent and the Uzbek people.
