He was dismissed due to shortcomings in his activities and preparation for the winter season.

First Deputy Khokim of Tashkent Bakhtiyor Rakhmonov appointed as acting khokim of the capital.

In addition, Deputy Minister of Energy Sherzod Khodjaev and Chairman of Thermal Power Plants Farkhad Abdurakhmanov were fired.

Khokim of the Tashkent region Z. Mirzaev was strictly warned, the khokim of Chirchik also received a reprimand.

The heads of administrations of Yunusabad, Mirzo-Ulugbek, Uchtepa districts were also relieved of their duties and demoted to acting khokims.
