Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 17 March, a delegation led by the khokim of Tashkent city Jahongir Artikhodjaev paid a working visit to Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting with the Mayor of Ashgabat Yaztagan Gilidzhov, issues of development and strengthening of bilateral relations were discussed in detail. In particular, the leaders of the two capitals got acquainted with the initial project of the Tashkent park, which is planned to be built in Ashgabat, and exchanged views on its improvement.

According to Yaztagan Gilidzhov, the Tashkent Park will be built in the historical center of Ashgabat, on a 3-hectare site on Makhtumkuli Street.

Negotiations on this issue are ongoing.
