JA Solar Signs Contract to Supply 100 MW of Solar Modules to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 2 February, JA Solar Technology announced the launch of cooperation with the Uzbek enterprise Green-KW Group in the field of renewable energy.

The parties officially signed an agreement for the supply of photovoltaic (PV) modules with a total capacity of 100 MW.

The agreement provides for the delivery of 20 MW of high-efficiency DeepBlue 5.0 modules, specifically adapted to Uzbekistan’s solar resources and climatic conditions. This will ensure reliable and efficient electricity generation for local solar projects.

Prior to signing the contract, the parties conducted in-depth consultations. From January 21 to 23, 2026, a delegation from Green-KW Group visited JA Solar Technology’s production facilities in Yangzhou for inspections and detailed negotiations.

The inspection of the company’s intelligent production lines gave the delegation a comprehensive understanding of JA Solar’s quality control system at all stages of the product lifecycle, as well as its innovative technological solutions from R&D to manufacturing, providing a solid foundation for official cooperation.
