IUT launches Telegram bot and channel for prospective students

Telegram users can now subscribe to IUT bot at @iutuz_bot and channel at @inha_uz.

With help of the bot, the subscribers can familiarize with Inha University in Tashkent, its activities and infrastructure, events and latest news. The bot provides information in English and Uzbek languages. IUT channel, in its turn, disseminates latest news and announcements to its subscribers.

IUT will wrap up registration of prospective students on 14 July. In this connection, prospective students have many questions. Subscribing to IUT bot and channel at Telegram, they can find answers to their questions.

According to the latest data, Telegram is one of the most popular messengers in Uzbekistan. In order to follow this trend, IUT organized IUT Telegram Messenger Challenge contest. The project allowed students to receive valuable experience, while the university got final product. IUT believes that new channel of information dissemination will improve recognition of IUT among target audience.

IUT student Shakhzod Bokhidjonov developed the IUT bot and channel within the IUT Telegram Messenger Challenge contest, which was held among the IUT students. The winner received the chance to take part in Inha Summer School in the Republic of Korea in July-August 2016.
