Rector of Inha University in Tashkent (IUT) Sarvar Babakhodjaev received the guest. At the beginning of the meeting, the head of the university briefed the guest about the activity of the educational institution.
He noted that IUT is the first South Korean university abroad. Currently, the university trains students in such directions as “Computer and Information Engineering” and “Logistics” based on academic programmes of Inha University in the Republic of Korea.
IUT rector also stated that the university is working on opening master’s program. He said that the university plans to open new laboratories in cooperation with the world’s leading companies.
In turn, Ashok Kumar presented the activities of the e-Government Leadership Center, which offers courses in various areas of information technology. The center also conducts researches on IT areas.
During the talks, the parties discussed establishment of cooperation between the two organizations. In particular, the sides expressed interest in organizing the exchange of faculty members and students, as well as joint training programs and fostering local faculty members.
