IUT and Hamkorbank sign memorandum of understanding

The parties are planning to establish cooperation in several fields. In particular, Hamkorbank will consider launching annual grants project for distinctive students of IUT with the condition of successfully passing interview and doing an internship at the bank, the IUT said in a statement.

Additionally, the bank plans to consider the possibility of supporting IUT students in development and introduction of information systems and innovative solutions in the banking sector. Hamkorbank and IUT also plan to launch a joint project, within which IUT students will participate in creating software products for banking sphere.

Furthermore, the parties to MoU intend to cooperate in the introduction of innovative solutions in banking and finance, development of internet and mobile banking, as well as application of BPR (business process reengineering) and introduction of BI-system (Business intelligence) with the aim of optimizing business processes and improve quality of management decisions in the banking activities.

Finally, the partnership of two organizations will also include workshops for training and improving qualifications of the bank employees in the field of modern information technologies in banking sector.

The curriculum of these training courses will be aimed at developing skills of system analysis, time management and implementation of banking IT systems. IUT will attract experienced IT-specialists as trainers and instructors.
