ITUC delegation visits Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
A delegation of the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) led by Secretary-General Sharan Burrow payed a visit to Uzbekistan.
Within the visit, the delegation familiarized with the social-economic reforms, work of Uzbekistan Trade Unions Federation on protection of social-economic rights and interests of employees in various industries, conditions of work and rest, etc. Cooperation of the ITUC and Uzbekistan Trade Unions Federation were also considered.
The ITUC delegation also visited Tashkent Plant for Construction and repair of passengers of wagons and Sam Antep Gilam, where their familiarized with conditions, created for workers.
