Issues on expanding cooperation with BYD discussed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At a meeting between Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov and Deputy General Director of BYD Ivan Cao, concrete steps were discussed to expand cooperation.

BYD is a Chinese conglomerate that has been the world's largest electric vehicle manufacturer since 2022. It has 4 production bases in China. 

In 2023, together with Uzavtosanoat, Chinesec company launched a project to organize the production of electric vehicles in Jizzakh region.
