Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- With the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Seoul, a meeting was held via videoconference with the leadership of the Department of International Cooperation of the Korea National Defense University (KNDU), Dunyo news agency reported.
The parties noted the consistent and positive dynamics in the development of cooperation between the defense departments of the two countries in the field of military education. The parties previously organized mutual visits of the heads of educational institutions of the two countries, which resulted in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Academy of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan and KNDU on cooperation in the field of military education and military research.
In addition, KNDU specialists, along with other international experts, regularly participate in international conferences and seminars organized by the Academy of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, issues of the current state and prospects of cooperation in the field of military education, as well as the exchange of experience in the field of military research were discussed.
Taking into account the high level of cooperation between the defense departments of the two countries in the field of military education, an agreement was reached to start training the military personnel of Uzbekistan at the master’s courses at the Korean National Defense University from 2023.
