Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 8 October, representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kuala Lumpur held negotiations with the director of Sri Muhibbah Tea Merchant, Luis Oui, during which issues of attracting the Malaysian side to mutually beneficial investment cooperation were discussed, Dunyo news agency reported.
Founded in 2003, Sri Muhibbah Tea Merchant is engaged in the production of about 30 types of coffee and tea. Its products are exported to 46 countries of the world, including the countries of Southeast Asia and Europe.
During the meeting, Luis Oui expressed interest in considering the possibility of organizing packaging production of tea and coffee in Uzbekistan, including for further export of these products to other countries of Central Asia.
They also noted the need for an appropriate analysis of the Uzbek market, the conditions for the implementation of the proposed investment project and the existing logistics infrastructure for the effective organization of work on the export of manufactured products.
As a result of the negotiations, an agreement was reached on determining the appropriate Uzbek partner company to establish cooperation and establish joint production.
