Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 21 February, First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sodyq Safoev met with Ambassador of France to Uzbekistan Aurélia Bouchez.

During the meeting, issues of cooperation between the parliaments of the two states, reforms carried out in our country, legislation and the rule of law were discussed.

During the conversation, it was noted that today cooperation within the framework of the high-level dialogue in bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and France has entered a qualitatively new stage.

It was especially noted that inter-parliamentary cooperation makes a significant contribution to the further development of bilateral ties.

The meeting also discussed the current state and prospects for cooperation in the field of education between the two countries.
