Issues of innovative cooperation of the CIS member states discussed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A conference "Commercialization of innovations and development of high-tech cooperation relations of the CIS member states: new business opportunities" was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. 

The event was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shahlo Turdikulova with a report on the importance of developing interaction between entrepreneurs in the innovation sphere.

Following the meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of Governments held in November 2020 in the format of a video conference, 23 documents were signed on the development of the transport system, energy, construction, education, culture, tourism, physical culture and sports, as well as youth policy. Let us remind that the Republic of Uzbekistan presides over the Commonwealth this year.

In accordance with the Decision of the Council of Heads of Governments of the CIS countries, the Interstate Program of Innovative Cooperation of the CIS Member States for the period up to 2030 was adopted, in which the Ministry of Innovative Development is the competent state body from the Republic of Uzbekistan.

This platform will serve as a platform for establishing mutually beneficial cooperation between the CIS member states through the implementation of joint projects, monitoring the innovation ecosystem, creating a unified system of orders for technology and the formation of an innovative culture.

As a result of the implementation of this program, it is expected to create a unified national scientific and technical information platform in the country through the introduction of best practices in the scientific information space of the CIS countries in the field of digital development of economic sectors.

The Skolkovo Foundation, including as the Program Operator and the innovation community of Uzbekistan, has established productive, partnership relations. So, at the end of 2019, the Skolkovo Foundation and the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed a Partnership Agreement, which gave impetus to the implementation of large-scale joint projects aimed at developing bilateral cooperation in the field of innovation.
