Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 16 August, the Ministry of Preschool Education, as part of the implementation of the Memorandum of Cooperation with the International Foundation "Zamin", held a meeting of specialists of preschool and public education with representatives of the National Medical Research Center of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Immunology named after Dmitry Rogachev of the Ministry of Health of Russia on the education of children in a stationary medical institution.

Sergey Sharikov, the head of the federal project of Russian hospital schools “We Teach We Know”, shared his experience in hospital pedagogy.

Such a model of education in Uzbekistan has not been implemented before. To this end, the Ministry of Preschool Education, together with the International Zamin Foundation, the Ministries of Public Education, Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Dmitry Rogachev National Medical Research Center for Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Immunology of the Russian Federation, will implement a project that will combine and combine treatment and prevention activities with educational services for children, as well as provide psychological and pedagogical support to their parents.

During the meeting, Minister of Preschool Education Agrippina Shin noted that the implementation of this project in the Republic of Uzbekistan will allow children with cancer who are on long-term treatment to master the training program without lagging behind other peers and continue their education at subsequent stages of education.

Sharikov noted that such cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia will allow providing support to sick children, for whom it is most important to receive a charge of positive energy and enthusiasm, because oncology is not a sentence, it is children who need a goal for which they would want to live and fight the disease.
