Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A regular meeting of the government delegations of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in the Joint Demarcation Commission ended in the Kazakh capital today, Dunyo news agency reported.

On 10-14 May, in the city of Nur-Sultan, the parties continued the preparation of draft final documents for the demarcation of a section of the State Border within Syrdarya and Jizzakh regions of Uzbekistan, bordering on Turkestan region of Kazakhstan.

They also discussed the draft Treaty between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan on the demarcation of the Uzbek-Kazakh State Border.

The talks were held in a constructive atmosphere. The next meeting is scheduled for late May in Uzbekistan.
