Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A regular meeting of the Government delegations of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in the Joint Uzbek-Kazakh Demarcation Commission ended in Tashkent today, Dunyo news agency reported.

During 19-23 April, the parties continued preparing the final documents of the demarcation of the State Border for a section within Syrdarya and Jizzakh regions of Uzbekistan, bordering on Turkestan region of Kazakhstan.

Issues related to the upcoming field demarcation work on the line of the Uzbek-Kazakh State Border were discussed.

The talks were held in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding.

The next meeting is scheduled for May 2021 in Kazakhstan.
