Issues of creating a unified management system together with the international consulting company KPMG were discussed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held between specialists of Uzbekneftegaz JSC and the international consulting company KPMG to discuss the creation of a Unified Regulatory Reference Information Management System (NSI) in a joint-stock company.

It should be noted that regulatory reference information (NMI) is a conditionally permanent component of general corporate information. NSI is the core of a single information space of the organization and includes a set of directories, dictionaries, classifiers, standards, regulations used in the activities of the enterprise.

The advantages of implementing a unified NMI management system in Uzbekneftegaz JSC are as follows:

• rationalization of the corporate information system;

• improving the reliability and accuracy of primary accounting data and consolidated reporting;

• ensuring compliance with accounting and reporting documentation;

• centralization of responsibility for the quality of reference information;

• the use of high-quality (up-to-date, complete, consistent, reliable, unified) regulatory and reference information by all users of information and accounting systems of the enterprise;

• improving the efficiency of operational control of management decisions and important production and economic indicators.

At the meeting, detailed information was presented on the experience of implementing a unified NSI management system in KPMG.

After that, the specialists of Uzbekneftegaz JSC analyzed the information systems, programs and level of automation that currently exist in the joint-stock company, as well as the problems that arise when entering, processing and controlling information.

KPMG specialists, in turn, noted that in case of involvement in the project of introducing a unified NSI management system, in order to solve the problems listed above, the following three stages must be completed:

Stage 1. Diagnostics of the current state of the NSI system, detailed work planning and project management;

Stage 2. Development of a methodology for organizing business and maintaining the NSI system;

Step 3: Design the NSI system, normalize the records, and integrate the system.

Detailed information was also provided on the main tasks for each stage, explanations for the list of work performed and the results achieved.

As a result of the meeting, it was decided to resume the discussion after studying the technical and commercial proposals of the international consulting company KPMG by the specialists of Uzbekneftegaz.
