Islam Karimov hands over awards to group of citizens

Uzbek leader with his decrees awarded a group of the citizens of Uzbekistan, who contributed to development of the country, increasing economic potential and strengthening peace, high achievements of social-economic, scientific-technical and spiritual spheres, in connection with the 22nd anniversary of the Independence of Uzbekistan in August 2013.

President Islam Karimov congratulated the citizens with the awards and wished strong health, peace and prosperity, as well as success in their future work. He also expressed his frank wishes to the awardees.

Islam Karimov said that Uzbekistan is dynamically developing despite global financial-economic crisis in the world. He said that Uzbekistan is achieving sustainable growth of economy. He also noted that well-being of population is growing as well.

Uzbek leader underlined that reforms are conducted in various spheres such as agriculture, industry, construction and transport, as well as education, healthcare, science, culture, sports, as well as in all spheres of businesses.

President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov also praised hard work of the people in achieving high economic development of the country. He said that people of Uzbekistan are behind the achievements of the country.

During the ceremony, President Islam Karimov handed over the state awards to the citizens of Uzbekistan.
