Islam Karimov expresses condolences to Japan PM Naoto Kan

In his letter, the Uzbek leader said: “Uzbekistan received information on catastrophic earthquake and following tsunami in numerous regions of Japan with deep sorrow.”

President Islam Karimov stated: “On behalf of people of Uzbekistan and my own behalf I express deep sympathy in connection with heave consequences of natural disaster in Japan and I ask you deliver words of support to all friendly Japanese people.”

“We share your pain and irreplaceable loss, and I express my sincerest condolences to families and relatives of casualties”, the Uzbek leader concluded.
