According to the press service of the Uzbek ministry, Tursunpulat Tashpulatov has been appointed to the post of the first deputy minister of interior affairs and head of the main department on criminal investigation and fighting terrorism of the Ministry of Interior Affairs in line with presidential decree.
Prior to appointment Tursunpulat Tashpulatov worked as the first deputy head of main department of interior affairs in Tashkent. Lieutenant colonel Odil Atakhodjaev replaced him at this post.
In his turn, Tursunpulat Tashpulatov replaced Davron Nazarmuhamedov, who has been appointed as state advisor of the President of Uzbekistan on organizational-cadre issues in April 2015.
