ISESCO Chair to be launched at Tashkent Islamic University
Tashkent Islamic University and ISESCO signed a memorandum of understanding on the establishment of the ISESCO Chair for the Study of Islamic Civilization within the Uzbek university.
The document was signed within the visit of the delegation of Tashkent Islamic University to Rabat, Morocco.
The purpose of the launching the Chair is to study the history and current status of education, science and culture in the Muslim world and delivering them to the students through in-depth training courses.
Ravshan Abdullaev, the Rector of Tashkent Islamic University and Abdul-Aziz bin Uthman at-Tuvejri, General Director of ISESCO discussed cooperation in the field of education, science and culture.
The main tasks on the general directions, the structure, the provision, the taught subjects and scientific activity of the "ISESCO Chair for the study of Islamic civilization" were determined during the meeting.
