Iranian MP holds meeting at Uzbek MFA
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with the member of the Commission on foreign policy and security of the Iranian parliament Murtaza Saffari Natanzi on 5 December 2016.
Iranian MP arrived in Uzbekistan to observe presidential elections in Uzbekistan. At the meeting, he spoke about his visits to polling stations and meetings with voters.
He said that presidential elections were organized well and were open. He said that the elections were conducted in line with national legislation and general international principles.
The sides exchanged opinion on issues of the Uzbek-Iranian cooperation.
