Ipoteka Bank Reports Record Profit and Strong Customer Loyalty
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Ipoteka Bank, part of the international OTP Group, reported a record net profit of 1.763 trillion soums for 2025.
Return on equity (ROE) reached 22.4%, and return on assets (ROA) was 3.5%, reflecting effective capital use and a resilient business model. The Cost of Risk stood at 0.58%, indicating a high-quality loan portfolio and prudent risk management.
The bank also made significant improvements in customer service. Operational processes and service standards were updated throughout the year, raising the Net Promoter Score (NPS) from 28% to 66.8%, and Mystery Shopping scores from 66% to 80%. These changes demonstrate measurable results that customers can perceive.
OTP Group also delivered strong financial results in 2025. Net profit reached 1.146 billion Hungarian forints (≈2.88 billion EUR), with a capital return of 21.6%. Growth was driven by increased lending and transactional activity, with total revenue up 11% and operating profit up 10% year-on-year.
The performing loan portfolio expanded by 15%, and deposits grew by 11%, while asset quality remained stable, with Stage 3 loans at 3.5%. The group maintains strong capitalization (CET1 — 18.1%) and continues to focus on profitable organic growth, assessing opportunities for strategic acquisitions in key markets.
