Intl conference on security in Central Asia to be held in Tashkent

According to him, the conference will be held under the aegis of the UN. He noted that the event will be devoted to the problems of ensuring security and sustainable development in Central Asia.

The diplomat noted that one of the main goals of the event is to create a permanent platform for discussing topical issues of regional cooperation and developing mutually acceptable solutions on them.

Anvar Nasirov noted that the achievement of peace and stability in Afghanistan is a decisive factor in ensuring the security and sustainable development of Central Asia.

He added that there is no military solution to the Afghan problem. Nasirov said that the only way is peaceful political negotiations.
