Internet project to allow to monitor buses movement in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
VIA-TASHKENT LLC in cooperation with the Department on licensing and coordinating movement of all types of passenger transport implemented a pilot project on introduction of automated system of dispatcher management and monitoring of work of the routes.
The system provides opportunity to receive information on schedule of bus movement and control interval of the movement, speed of buses, etc.
New system – via.uz – comprises of two modules. VIA Mobile is designed for planning trip on public buses. VIA-Bekat provides information on arrival of buses to bus stations.
Currently, the system covers eight bus routes, including route 2, 21, 22, 51, 72, 125, 131 and 149 in Tashkent city.
Currently, the sides are working on improving the service based on peculiarity of the public passenger system in Tashkent.
