Internationally Wanted Fraud Suspect Extradited to Uzbekistan from Croatia with Interpol Support

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As a result of coordinated efforts by law enforcement agencies of Uzbekistan and Croatia, with the involvement of the National Central Bureau of Interpol, an internationally wanted individual accused of fraud has been extradited to Uzbekistan, the Dunyo news agency reported.

According to investigators, the suspect was detained in Croatia and subsequently handed over to the Uzbek authorities in Zagreb in accordance with international legal norms.

The arrest and extradition were carried out through close cooperation with Interpol’s National Central Bureau in Zagreb and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Hungary.

The operation clearly demonstrates the effectiveness of international police cooperation and reaffirms the principle of the inevitability of accountability for criminal offenses, regardless of where they are committed.
