International exhibition of national products "Made in Uzbekistan" kicks off in Tashket

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - From 23 to 25 October 2019, the international exhibition of national products “Made in Uzbekistan” organized by the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan  together with republican ministries, departments and organizations is held in the pavilions and open areas of Uzexpocenter.

The main goals and objectives of this event is to demonstrate the export of oriented products of domestic enterprises, increase the export potential of the country, including increasing the competitiveness of domestic products, as well as establishing sustainable and long-term cooperation with foreign partners.

The exhibition will present the following sectors of the economy: the mining sector, the oil and gas sector, the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, the automotive and engineering industries, the electrical industry, the construction industry, the textile and leather and footwear industries, the agricultural sector and the food industry, as well as the services of financial institutions, national applied arts and tourism potential of Uzbekistan.

It is important to note the participation here of regional enterprises and regional associations from all over the republic in order to expand the geography of their exports and increase investment in the economy.

The exhibition program will include thematic conferences divided into two sessions. On the first day, a session is planned in the direction of development of industries such as light industry, agricultural and wine-vodka, as well as in the field of quarantine and standardization.

The second session will take place on the second day, during which speakers are expected to make speeches in the field of mechanical engineering, metallurgy, oil and gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, construction and electrical industries.

The exhibition will include presentations of the export potential of sectors of the national economy, a fashion show of finished textile products, a demonstration of the manufacturing process of handicraft products and national cuisine, etc.

On the last day of this exhibition, the results of the exhibition will be summarized, the results of the concluded export contracts will be announced, and there will also be an award ceremony among participants in such nominations as “Best Innovation Stand”, “Most Visited Stand” and others.
