Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An international conference for civil servants of the Central Asian countries on the topic "Modernization of public administration and respect for the principles of the rule of law" began its work in the capital today, Dunyo news agency reported.
The two-day conference is organized by the Ministry of Justice in cooperation with the European Commission for Democracy through Law of the Council of Europe (Venice Commission).
The forum is envisaged by the Program of the European Union and the Council of Europe "Rule of Law in Central Asia for 2020-2023".
The main goal of the conference is to create an open dialogue platform that brings together leading international and national experts to discuss issues of modernizing public administration and compliance with the principles of the rule of law, as well as sharing best practices.
The conference is held in a hybrid format.
