International conference OGU takes place in Tashkent

International conference OGU is important part of the annual exhibition “Oil and Gas Uzbekistan”. The event was organized by ITE Uzbekistan and its partners I.T.E. Exhibitions & Conferences Ltd. (Great Britain), ITE Moscow (Russia), GIMA (Germany), ITE China (China). The conference was organized at the support of Uzbekneftegaz national holding company.

The conference is aimed at assisting to introduce innovative solutions, discussing actual issues of reconstruction and modernization of oil and gas industry, as well as new solutions, exchanging practical experience in efficiency and safety of production.

On 15-16 May, the participants will discuss issues of developing oil and gas industry in Central Asian, including in Uzbekistan, priorities of development of the industry for 2013-2015, and others.

Over 400 delegates are participating at the conference. Among them are 150 foreign experts from 26 countries, including Austria, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Great Britain, Germany, Greece, Denmark, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Norway, and others.

Delegation of Uzbekistan includes representatives of Uzbekneftegaz and its divisions like UzLITIneftgaz, Uztransgas, etc.

At the conference, the participants will consider development of oil and gas market of Central Asia and its impact to diversification of hydrocarbons supply from Uzbekistan, strategic partnership in exploration, mining and processing hydrocarbons, and other issues.
