Interior Ministry approves protocol, registered in electronic form against pedestrian, who violated traffic rules

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An instruction on electronic registration of protocols on offenses made by pedestrians, as well as drivers of motorbikes and bicycle was approved, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

The document approved the form of a protocol on offenses, made by pedestrians, as well as drivers of mopeds and bicycles.

According to the document, the pedestrian must be fixed on the photo with a special device at the time of the violation, which will serve as evidence.

After fixing the violation, the traffic safety officer must present himself to the pedestrian and present him with an official protocol, as well as explain the reason for stopping him and inform him about the violation of traffic rules, Gazeta.uz reported.

Then the employee of police should ask the pedestrian to show the identity document (passport, driver’s license, military ticket, etc.). If there are no documents, the pedestrian will be asked to provide the correct information about himself, having warned that in case of giving incorrect data he can be delivered to the territorial body of internal affairs for identification.

The data received from the pedestrian is entered by the police officers into a special device that, for checking the information, is connected to the database of the Main Department for Migration and Registration of Citizenship of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The device automatically determines the time and place of the violation and fixes it in the protocol together with the data on the traffic police inspector and information about the offense.

After registering the protocol, the pedestrian is advised to read it and confirm the entered information with a fingerprint. The protocol with the receipt for payment of the fine is sent to the citizen’s electronic office on the Single portal of interactive public services or within three days by mail to the address of his permanent residence. Unpaid fine in time will be automatically taken to control through the billing system.

If the pedestrian has a complaint on the fact of the committed offense, the electronic protocol is sent to the appropriate administrative court.
