Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 18 August, within the framework of the Meeting of Ministers of Internal Affairs and Public Security of the SCO Member States in Tashkent, a bilateral meeting was organized between the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Lieutenant General Pulat Bobojonov, and the State Minister of Internal Affairs of India Mr Nityanand Rai.
During the meetings and negotiations, issues of prospects for the development of bilateral interdepartmental cooperation in combating crime in the field of information technology, training and retraining of personnel in this area, as well as strengthening regional security and stability were discussed.
In turn, the Indian colleague praised the efforts of the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan in ensuring security and law and order in the country.
The results of the meetings, as well as the proposals of the parties, were fixed in the final protocol.
