Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - To date, cases of gross violations of the safety rules for the operation of vehicles, serious problems in the road infrastructure, which leads to road traffic accidents, as a result of which many people are injured, and most it is sad that some of them die prematurely, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.

In this regard, an interdepartmental working group began its work in the republic on a comprehensive study of problems in the field of road traffic and their practical elimination.

The group includes heads and qualified specialists of the Government, the Ministries of Internal Affairs, Transport and Finance, the Committee for Roads and other responsible departments and organizations.

The group will comprehensively study the current state of traffic safety and early warning of road accidents on the roads, will also develop regulatory and targeted organizational and practical measures based on the use of advanced foreign experience and scientific approaches.

Particular attention will be paid to serious problems related to road infrastructure - the condition of roads, pedestrian crossings, road signs, unregulated intersections, etc., comprehensive measures will be taken to improve them fundamentally. 

Having studied the problems of concern to the population in the field of road safety, the public will be informed about the comprehensive measures taken, as well as the proposals made by citizens will be carefully studied.
